Earndrop.io is free for up to 8 wallets. Past that, it charges $18 a month for 15 wallets or $26 a month for 25, on annual billing. Paying monthly raises those plans to $26 and $39. That is more than most farmers need to spend.

For most people, DefiLlama's airdrop checker is the right tool. It is free, it needs no signup, and it scans Solana and EVM addresses. If you run 20 or more wallets across many chains, Drops' published annual plans cost a fraction of Earndrop's per wallet. Earndrop earns its place only if you want alerts on a handful of EVM wallets and stay inside the free tier.

I weighed four things: the published price per wallet, which chains each tool covers, whether a check needs anything beyond a pasted public address, and what independent scam checks say about the site. Every figure below comes from the tool's own page or from the review named beside it, dated as that source carries it.

Best for most farmers: DefiLlama Airdrops

DefiLlama's Airdrops page does three jobs that the paid trackers split across tiers. DefiLlama described it on its own X account as "an airdrop checker to see if your address has qualified for any airdrops already. A list of all tokenless protocols, along with their TVL. Vetted links to announced airdrops (to help you avoid scams)."

The checker takes a Solana or EVM address and scans several protocols in one pass. It asks for no wallet connection, no signature and no account. Results come back as either "no claim yet" or a claim link, and that link sends you to the project's own claim page. Any wallet connection happens there, never on DefiLlama. The tokenless list can be sorted by TVL or by capital raised, and secondary reporting puts it at more than 3,500 protocols. DefiLlama's own page does not confirm that figure. That list works as a watchlist of projects that have not issued a token yet, which is the free version of what Earndrop sells as Alpha Protocols. If you build your farming list from it, the legwork of finding campaigns early still falls to you.

Price: $0. The airdrop checker has no paid tier.

The drawback: it has no alerts. You come back and paste addresses yourself. Pipeflare's comparison also notes that airdrops are secondary to DefiLlama's core analytics business, so depth of coverage is not the product's main focus.

Skip it if you want a notification when a wallet qualifies rather than a page you check by hand.

Best for twenty wallets or more: Drops

This is the answer for anyone who searched for a wallet scanner for airdrops and runs a real farm. DappAtlas's 2026 roundup named Drops its top airdrop checker. Its reasons: Drops tracks 413+ airdrops across 40+ networks, and it "checks any pasted address, ENS or SNS name" without a wallet connection.

Price, as DappAtlas reported it: a free scan, then $43 a year for 1 address, $91 a year for 20 and $139 a year for 50. The 20-address plan costs less for a full year than two months of Earndrop's monthly Prime Plus.

The drawback: those prices come from a third-party roundup, not from a Drops pricing page I could check here. Confirm them on Drops' own site before you pay. The $43 single-address plan is also poor value next to free options if you only care about one wallet.

Skip it if you have fewer than about ten wallets. DefiLlama's free checker covers that.

Best for alerts on a few EVM wallets: Earndrop

The case for Earndrop is the free tier. Earndrop's pricing page gives $0 accounts up to 8 monitored wallets, real-time airdrop notifications by email and other channels, access to some free airdrops, its Alpha Protocols list and Discord access. None of the free tools above alerts you, and this one does.

The paid tiers are harder to defend. Prime Basic is $18 a month billed annually or $26 monthly, for 15 wallets. Prime Plus is $26 a month annually or $39 monthly, for 25. Coverage is EVM-focused, so Solana wallets are not the point of it.

What a year costs per wallet

Annual cost is the published monthly price times 12. Cost per wallet is that annual cost divided by the plan's wallet limit. Earndrop figures are from its pricing page. Drops figures are as DappAtlas reported them.

Earndrop Prime Basic, annual billing (15 wallets)$216/yr, $14.40 per wallet
Earndrop Prime Basic, monthly billing (15 wallets)$312/yr, $20.80 per wallet
Earndrop Prime Plus, annual billing (25 wallets)$312/yr, $12.48 per wallet
Earndrop Prime Plus, monthly billing (25 wallets)$468/yr, $18.72 per wallet
Drops, 20 addresses$91/yr, $4.55 per wallet
Drops, 50 addresses$139/yr, $2.78 per wallet

Earndrop's cheapest paid wallet costs more than four times Drops' 20-address rate, and Drops covers 40+ networks to Earndrop's EVM focus.

The favorable reviews deserve a fair hearing. CryptoLinks called Earndrop "definitely worth it for anyone looking to upscale their earnings," and LegitInsights praised it for making sure "no potential crypto reward slips through their fingers." Neither review sets Earndrop's prices against an alternative, though, and on price alone the paid plans lose.

The bigger issue is trust. ScamAdviser gives earndrop.io a trust score of 0 out of 100 and labels it "Very Likely Unsafe." It cites hidden domain ownership, low traffic, a third-party "possible scam" report and only a Domain Validated SSL certificate. The score is automated, and ScamAdviser itself lists signals on the other side: the domain dates to February 7, 2022, DNSFilter rates it safe, and it runs on Cloudflare. The finding that should worry you is a different one. ScamAdviser reports that earndrop.io receives redirects from domains such as wallet-earndrop.com and earndropnow.net, a pattern it associates with scam infrastructure. That does not prove Earndrop is a scam. It does mean any link to Earndrop that you did not type yourself deserves suspicion.

Skip it if you farm on Solana, run more than 8 wallets, or would be uneasy pasting a farm's full address list into a site with that ScamAdviser record.

The rule that matters more than the price

Pipeflare's core guidance is short. A legitimate eligibility check needs only a public address pasted into a box. It never needs a wallet connection or a signed message, and a request to "sign to check" is a common drainer pattern. DefiLlama and Drops both work this way. The Earndrop sources describe "connecting" wallet addresses without saying whether that ever means signing, so treat any signature prompt there as a reason to leave. The difference between a read-only lookup and a signature is the whole game.

Two free tools cover the security side. De.Fi Scanner, per Pipeflare and DappAtlas, runs address-based risk and approval checks across 35+ chains, including EVM, Solana, Bitcoin and Cosmos. Revoke.cash, recommended by AirdropBuzz, lets you revoke the approvals a claim leaves behind. DappAtlas lists it as free for a single-chain dashboard, $99 a year for Premium and $199 for Ultimate. Expect the checkers to disagree with each other at times, because they read different eligibility data. When a result matters, Etherscan is the ground truth.

What to buy

  • DefiLlama Airdrops: free, for anyone checking Solana or EVM wallets by hand.
  • Drops: for farms of 20 to 50 wallets across many networks, at $91 to $139 a year as reported.
  • Earndrop (free tier only): for up to 8 EVM wallets when you want alerts without opening a page.

If you want alerts across hundreds of wallets and several non-EVM chains from a site with a clean trust record, none of the sources here describes that tool yet. Until one does, pair DefiLlama with a calendar reminder.

The old version of this page also listed DeBank, Airdrops.io, DappRadar, Alpha Drops and a LayerZero scanner. DeBank is a portfolio tracker, not a dedicated airdrop scanner, and Pipeflare notes that Airdrops.io does not scan wallets at all. The sources here give no pricing or test data for the other three, so they are not ranked.

Yes, for up to 8 wallets, with real-time notifications, some free airdrops, Alpha Protocols and Discord access. Prime Basic (15 wallets) costs $18 a month billed annually or $26 monthly. Prime Plus (25 wallets) costs $26 a month annually or $39 monthly, per Earndrop's pricing page.

No. DefiLlama and Drops both check a pasted public address. Connect a wallet only on a project's official claim page, and never sign a message just to see eligibility.

Its sources describe it as focused on EVM chains and Ethereum 0x addresses. For Solana, DefiLlama's checker accepts SOL addresses, and Drops supports SNS names.
